A headache card for your wallet.

If you live with a daily headache, the people around you in an emergency won’t know what is normal for you. This card tells them — and reminds you which changes need urgent care.

  1. Type into the first card below, or print it blank and write by hand.
  2. Print at 100% / actual size so the card fits a wallet.
  3. Cut around the solid line, fold on the dashed line, then glue or tape the halves together. Clear tape over both sides makes it last.

Why “my usual headache” matters

With a daily headache, the important question in an emergency is not “do you have a headache?” but “is this different?” A short description of your normal — for example constant, both sides, 4 out of 10 — lets anyone helping you judge a change. The warning signs on the back are the standard red flags that need same-day assessment.
